Patience With Joy

Colossians 1:11 "May you be strengthened with all power according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy."
What a wonderful verse! That is the prayer of my heart for all believers. Whether you are a woman working at home, or a man leading and providing, or a child learning to follow God, we all need to be strengthened so that we can endure. As a woman at home, I believe that patience with joy can be a special prayer for us. It is only going to be through His power and might that we not only endure but endure patiently with joy. Oh, that I would be patient with joy! Oh, that I might endure and be used by God to do His work here on this earth. Find strength in Him!

If we endure, it is because of Your strength. If we are patient, it is because of Your might. Thank You! Thank you that true joy comes from You. May we always keep our eyes on You as we walk the path You have laid out for us and joyfully lead the life You have called us to. Thank You, Lord!
