"... I will give thanks to You, O Lord, for though You were angry with me, Your anger turned away..."

Isaiah 12:1

God's anger did turn away from us, but because God is a just and holy God, His judgment turned to Christ. His wrath rested on the Son of God, so that we might have eternal life. How wonderful! This is our greatest reason to be thankful!
